Nobody bats a thousand, right? Even if "your guy" misses a few now and then, unless of course your guy is Brian Williams, you just give him a pass.
I have not always agreed with Jon Stewart and honestly, I do not always laugh at his jokes or skits. But all in all, Jon Stewart is a champion!
Last night's show, in my opinion, is an example of Stewart's halo slipping. He began the night by previewing past tidbits from the likes of Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Mark Furman, the ex-LAPD, admittedly racist, police investigator who gained media fame because of the OJ Simpson trial. The first OJ trial, that many storied "trial of the century" that conferred that cachet of fame on the prosecutors and police detectives involved in the investigation of the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and the Goldman kid.
