A very brief comment by Mitch McConnell defines exactly why no one in Congress should be supporting the TPP Agreement: "It would mean lost opportunities for American risk takers...." Wait! American Risk Takers? Aren't those the folks that crashed the economy in 2008?
To decline any further discussion about the value of TPP to the American work force, MCConnell deduces that the Trade Adjustment Assistance "which provides training for workers who have lost their jobs to increased foreign trade....." will address the possible millions of jobs that will be lost.
I ain't very smart, but it just sounds like the guys in DC are willing to sacrifice more American jobs for trade agreements with foreign nations.
