It's no wonder that I have very little impact as a blogger/writer on the vast expanse of the internet - I just can't wrap my head around the success of "The Fifty Shades of Grey". And it seems as if the whole world is sitting of the edge of their seats, squirming in an attempt to temper that burning itch in their loins, panting with a hint of perspiration over the top lip, all in anticipation for the release of the film.
I just don't get it. Well, that's not exactly true. I get the fact that there are millions of women, American executive women, who still engage in little girl fantasies about "being made, under duress" to experience the pleasures of sexual intercourse. I've read the exhaustive reports about how our puritan and Christian religious roots precludes women, even the liberated feminists who are extremely successful, from engaging in hot, lascivious sexual encounters with their mates or significant others.
